The main difference between incline push ups and decline push ups is that the former trains upper chest and the later trains lower chest. Incline push ups are relatively easier than Decline push ups as they put lesser stress on pecs and they also affect triceps. They are generally suggested for beginners to gain strength to do standard push ups or incline push ups. In terms of difficulty decline press ups are harder than standard push ups and incline push ups. Decline push ups make a great item in workouts for intermediate and advanced body builders.
