Flat Bench Cable Flyes are similar to Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes or Cable Crossovers exercise. This exercise also targets mid section of chest. To do this exercise place a free standing flat bench between the cable pullover machine with two pulleys opposite to each other. Adjust the weights according to your performance. Adjust the pulleys to bottom position. Now lie flat on the bench, flat on your back grabbing the cable with small handles. Initially your are stretched widely towards your sides, with elbows slightly bent and palms facing inward towards each other. Lift your arms towards each other as if hugging some thing. At the peak of the movement squeeze your pecs tightly. Now slowly lower your arms to the initial position. Repeat this until failure. At the top your arms must be touching each other and perpendicular to ground or chest.
