This exercise is for strengthening your biceps. This is one of the most popular exercise and effective exercise for biceps.This is not a compound exercise. Its only for biceps. No other muscles are trained.
How to do EZ Bar Curl exercise properly
- While standing straight, hold EZ bar curl from its outer handle. The position of your palms should be forward and somewhat inward due to shape of bar with elbow close to your torso.
- From this starting position, raise your upper arms whereas everything else stays as it is. You have to squeeze your biceps maximum while performing this step. Continue this stretch till level your biceps are fully tight. Hold this position for while so that you feel maximum pressure in your biceps. Focus will be only on moving forearms not stretching them.
- Slowly go back to your starting position by lowering your arms.
- For variations, you can also use EZ curl bar with low pulley.
Donot bend you wrists while lifting the bar. Keep your palm in line with forearms during the execution.
