We cover calf exercises using barbells in this post.
1.) How to Do Barbell Calf Raises
You need a barbell to do this exercises. Stand in the squat rack section, place the barbell on your shoulders. This is same as seated calf raises. Push your toes down so you raise your heels and lower them down in reverse motion.

2.) Rocking Barbell Calf Raises
The position you have to maintain for this exercise is same as that of standing barbell calf raise. To do this calf exercise you have to raise your toes and rocking your heels backward so that your toes raises 2 inch high and then now roll forward by raising the heels with toes and balls of foot on ground.

3.) Seated Barbell Calf Raises
To perform this exercise you need a bench and a barbell a platform to keep your feet on. Keep your toes and foot balls on the platform and place the barbell on top of your thighs. Now do this exercise like the seated calf raises. With your toes pointing outward raise your heels till you feel contraction and lower the heels. The initial upward movement should be quick and explosive.
