This exercise is similar to wide grip barbell bench press. You need a barbell & decline bench to perform this exercise. This workout targets the lower portion of your chest.
Instructions how to execute wide grip decline barbell bench press
- lie flat on your back on decline bench with foot under foot pads
- lift the weights from the rack with wide grip (arms approx 1.5 times the width of your shoulder apart)
- slowly lower the barbell just above your chest
- now lift the barbell to your original position till arms become straight in controlled fashion
Repeat this until your muscles give up.
