Instruction to do this exercise

  1. Stand up with your chest straight while you are holding the cable curl bar  attached to a  low pulley. Grab the cables’ bar at shoulder’s width with elbows close to your chest. Your palms should be in supinated grip position or facing up and this will be your initial position.
  2. While your holding the upper arms stationary, as you are breathing out, you should curl the weights and contract your biceps. You need to keep this in your mind that only your forearms should be moving. You should continue the movements till the time your biceps are completely contracted and the bar is at level of your shoulder. While you are squeezing your muscles, you should be holding the contracted posture for a moment.
  3. As you start breathing in, you can gradually begin to bring the bar back to its initial position.
  4. Repeat these steps for the suggested amount of recurrence or failure.

For variation, you can perform these movements by making use of single handles or E-Z barbell attachment.
